Role Overview
We’re looking for a Design Lead to own design across the Smart Bricks platform — product UX/UI, data visualization, brand expression, and user experience consistency.
This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who can translate complex financial and real-estate data into simple, intuitive, high-trust experiences. You’ll set design direction, build systems, and work closely with product, engineering, data, and marketing to shape how Smart Bricks looks, feels, and works.
You’ll be the first true design leader at the company, responsible for both execution and long-term design foundations.
Key Responsibilities
Product & UX Design
Own end-to-end product design across web and mobile experiences.
Translate complex data, analytics, and AI outputs into clear, intuitive user journeys.
Design core investor workflows, including discovery, analysis, comparison, and decision-making.
Partner closely with product and engineering to define UX requirements and ship high-quality experiences.
Continuously improve usability, clarity, and conversion across the product.
Data Visualization & Information Design
Design dashboards, charts, and visual systems that make financial and real-estate data easy to understand.
Establish best practices for presenting uncertainty, forecasts, comparisons, and performance metrics.
Balance precision, clarity, and trust in how data is visualized and explained.
Design Systems & Brand Expression
Build and own a scalable design system covering UI components, patterns, typography, color, and motion.
Ensure visual and experiential consistency across product, website, marketing, and internal tools.
Evolve Smart Bricks’ visual language to reflect credibility, intelligence, and investor trust.
Collaboration & Leadership
Act as the design partner to product, engineering, data, and marketing teams.
Advocate for user-centric, evidence-based design decisions.
Set design standards, processes, and quality bars across the company.
Support hiring, mentoring, and onboarding of future designers as the team grows.

Requirements & Qualifications
7–10 years of experience in product design, UX/UI, or interaction design.
Proven experience designing complex, data-heavy products (fintech, proptech, marketplaces, analytics tools strongly preferred).
Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking, not just visual polish.
Deep understanding of UX principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
Experience building and maintaining design systems in fast-scaling environments.
Comfortable working closely with engineers and understanding technical constraints.
Ability to simplify complexity without dumbing things down.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in early-stage or scale-up environments is a strong plus.

Design systems and component libraries
Close collaboration with product management, data science, and engineering teams
